Initially it had an authorized share capital of Rs 5 Cr but currently it stands at Rs. 17,000+ Cr. With adaptation of Decentralised Procurement (DCP) Scheme since KMS 2003-04, the Corporation has been engaged in direct purchase of paddy from farmers and in KMS 2023-24 procurement has crossed 79.16 LMT which is the highest ever figure since inception for any KMS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"or\"> The main function of the Corporation includes Procurement of Paddy, Storage and distribution of CMR.
